# Drawsy Companion

> Your canvas. Your machine.

Drawsy Companion is a free desktop app that connects Drawsy Canvas to the coding tools already on your computer — including Codex CLI, OpenCode CLI, and local project files.

The Companion bridge runs on your machine. **No Drawsy subscription is required.** Whether prompts or source reach an external model still depends on the coding agent and model provider you configure — local bridge ≠ offline model.

## Download

Windows, macOS, and Linux — https://app.drawsyai.com/companion#download

Latest release: see https://app.drawsyai.com/companion for installers and portable builds.

## How it works

1. Drawsy Canvas in your browser connects to Drawsy Companion on your computer over a secure local-only link.
2. Companion bridges to Codex CLI or OpenCode CLI (you choose one).
3. Your local project folder stays on your PC; Companion does not replace your agent’s model/provider configuration.
